This new Mining organization presents a highly responsible management role for a career oriented ‘Human Resources Manager - Generalist’ who will act as a strategic business partner & an employee advocate by contributing to the development of and the accomplishment of the organization-wide business plan and objectives.

This role is ideal for a business savvy candidate who has the capability to successfully evaluate, plan and implement all Human Resources aspects by integrating and adapting their experience, existing processes and systems to exceed Canadian standards in a Generalist capacity. Duties include, but not limited to, project based work, developing, implementing & updating policies and procedures as deemed fit, modifying T&D systems, integrating Payroll and HRIS systems, Recruitment, Employee relations, Performance Reviews.

Applicant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area with Human Resources focus
• 5+ years industry related experience; Mining industry knowledge a definite asset
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Strong team player; adaptable to various job functions and disciplines
• Excellent verbal and written communication
