Role of Systems Technician

1. Reports to the Systems Manager

2. Administers maintenance of the Library’s Integrated Library System (ILS)

3. Supports all software used within the Library.

4. Responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting workstations, pcs, servers, telecommunications equipment and related peripheral equipment

5. Administration of the Library’s website

6. Conducts public and staff training sessions on various computer related hardware and software

7. Implements computer systems and data security

8. Troubleshoot hardware and software issue
