Job Description:

The Director of Analytics has a solid combination of analytic and technical know-how, business acumen, and organizational leadership skills. The focus being:

Responsibilities

•Establish the standards for information collection, analysis and dissemination across the organization including site analytics, information and technology management and site operating metrics;
•Provide insight and make recommendations to the executive team on how to act on and yield benefits from analytic information;
•Help structure, implement and oversee A/B and multivariate tests across the company's web sites.
•Assist in forecasting, budgeting and optimization of advertising spend (company's most significant expense and business driver).
•Work with engineering and IT departments to determine optimal database and software solutions for the company's needs.
•Directly oversee the financial transaction element of site operations to ensure the continuous optimization of credit card processing activities, credit card fraud/chargeback management and the evaluation and implementation of new payment options;
•Act as principal point of contact for service providers relating to payment services and chargeback management;
•Help set the priorities of the organization, operationally and from a product development perspective in line with analytic information;
•Ensure a disciplined approach to new feature development and data collection service integration, monitoring and measurement;
•Help negotiate contract terms with vendors, establish service and material contracts, within the domain of business intelligence.

Requirements

•A university degree in the field of computer science, business administration, economics, mathematics or another rigorous discipline
•Minimum 5 years experience in a senior role for a commercial web site leading site and operating analytics
•Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management
•Familiarity with consumer privacy and payments industry compliance requirements
•An understanding of the databases and engineering processes related to logging, storing and parsing business information.
•Exposure to business theory, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting, and administrative operations
